The third Anna25 Exhibition takes place in Lot62 (Schleißheimerstr.62, Munich) on 25th October 2012. This time we would like to acquaint our viewers with works of Martyna Bielicka, Andreas Horsky, Thai Ho Pham and Holger Zimmermann. All the artists present different artistic techniques so not only paintings and graphics but also photos and video installations will be exhibited.
Holger Zimmermann presents his photographs at the Anna25 Exhibition. By taking pictures of dilapidating buildings which used to be peoples’ homes or workplaces, the artist captures transience of surrounding us objects. Zimmermann shows buildings which were left to their fate and which are changing their appearance constantly through rotting and vandalism.
Martyna Bielicka is a young, Polish artist whose works will be shown during the exhibition. Bielicka creates graphics which are printed on tissue paper. The impression will be strengthened by light effects highlighting pastel colors.
Andreas Horsky, a young artist from Munich, shows in his painterly works an escape into fairytale-like worlds. On closer inspection, however, vagueness and ambiguity of the paintings become discernible. A scene from superficially cheerful fairy tale gains a new, sinister meaning.
Thai Ho Pham, a German artist of Vietnamese origin, shows for the first time his installation “Denkpause”. Click here to see a short clip about the installation.
