Anna25 Project is having its first anniversary in Hamburg. On this occasion I would like to invite you all to my 25-hours-long exhibition in Baumwall 5-7, 20459 Hamburg. The exhibition starts at 9 a.m. This time works of Terence Carr, Martyna Bielicka, Thai Ho Pham and Aaron Vidal will be presented.
Terence Carr shows his statues which are an outstanding combination of African and European heritage. Colorful figures are inspired by motifs taken from both cultures. Carr creates in his works a new perception of two diverse artistic worlds.
Martyna Bielicka presents works from her series “Postmodern City of the Woman”. The series is a tribute to women who had an impact on the course of history. Through her art, Bielicka pays a homage to these women and their works. Her graphics are printed on tissue paper so that they make different impressions depending on the lighting in a room.
Thai Ho Pham‘s installation “Ich-Sicht” (“I-Sight”) combines motifs taken from art and tattoo world. Just like in his paintings the author unites two different styles and aesthetics. The installation shows artist’s personal views on his life, culture and the world.
Aaron Vidal‘s video “Dallas 1963” will be displayed publicly for the first time. The video reinterprets Vidal’s painting and historical events of 1963. Vidal’s characteristic paintings will be showed during the exhibition as well.
